The coach in Catchball plays a critical role in guiding, training, and leading the team both on and off the court. The responsibilities of the coach include:

Before the Game:

Training & Preparation: Develop structured training sessions focusing on skill improvement, team coordination, and game strategies​.

Player Development: Assesses player strengths and weaknesses, assigning roles based on their abilities​.

Game Strategy: Plans offensive and defensive tactics tailored to the opponent’s style of play.

Team Selection: Determines the starting lineup and makes strategic player rotations.
During the Game:

Tactical Adjustments: Observe the game, provide strategic feedback, and make real-time adjustments to tactics​.

Player Communication: Motivates players, provides guidance, and reinforces teamwork.

Substitutions: Decides when to substitute players for optimal performance.

Rule Enforcement & Sportsmanship: Ensures players follow the game rules and promotes good sportsmanship.
After the Game:

Performance Analysis: Reviews the team’s performance, identifies areas for improvement, and provides constructive feedback.
